[ filed under: california sports ] Working at home on Nob Hill in San Francisco, i heard noises outside my window – helicopters and cheering and booing – and turned on the radio… KCBS – And lo and behold – the olympic torch was running pass near my house on Van Ness ave, to avoid protesters – A new route toward the marina district. So i ran out .. no camera no wallet just my house keys. But the miracle of technology and being friendly really helped: A woman with an iphone next to me took photos and she sent me one and i got home and it was waiting for me: so here it is:
So many cops on the scene you’d think presidents and world leaders and the queen on England were in my neighborhood.. “Put it on ebay maybe?” I joked.
