In Morocco where 40% live below the poverty rate and 20% catogorized as living in a dire poverty level, many come into cities like Fez and Casablanca to look for hard labor work. One of the worst jobs is working in dye and tannery factory for leather. The place smells terrible and the dye which these workers have to use – they stomp the leather in dye wells wearing nothing but shorts – become permanent on their skins.

These folks are a bit like unctouchables as they are inked and marked.

Fez, Morocco.
