Iranian Bandari Woman

sewing
Iranian Bandari Woman by Roozbeh Feiz.

Bandari woman sewing Iranian version of Burqa (Batooleh), Hormozgan province, Iran.

The same thing that she is sewing can be seen on her face. This is hardly similar to the Burqa worn by Afghan ladies. These ones are called Batooleh in the local Bandari dialect.

Village near Gav-Bandi town in Hormozgan province, Iran.
