Members of the Southern Police District anti-riot police force their way to the houses of the Muslim community to serve the demolition in Baclaran, Pasay City early June 7. The area where these Filipino Muslims are located will soon be transformed into a business district. The residents are considered squatters, meaning they built their houses on land they do not own.

On June 16, the 332 families evicted appealed to the Catholic hierarchy to take up their cause with political authorities.
