Since 1990, Tomás Delgado has pioneered the growth of Candelas Guitars with streamlined and expanded guitar production to meet the needs of 21st century musicians. However, Candelas was founded in the small Mexican town of Torreon, Coahuila nearly 80 years ago by Tomás’ uncle and grandfather, two young orphaned brothers who loved playing the guitar but recognized their calling by building them.

World-class performers such as Andres Segovia, Celedonio Romero, Jose Feliciano, Charo, Los Lobos, Jackson Browne, Quetzal, and Ozomatli perform or performed with Candelas Guitars.
