Japanese fighter Seri (Orange & Gold) charges Chun Yeon Sil (Black & White) with a counter punch at the CMA (Korea) vs. DEEP (Japan) festival.

Seri (Freelance) defeated Chun Yeon Sil (CMA Masayuki) by split decision at full time limit.

DEEP is a Japanese mixed martial arts promotion which specializes in the lighter weight classes like Middleweight, Welterweight, Lightweight, Featherweight and Ladys Lightweight.

Modern mixed martial arts tournaments became popular in 1993 with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, based on the concept of pitting different fighting styles against each other in competition with minimal rules, in an attempt to determine which system would be more effective in a real, unregulated combat situation.
