YM Blog-a-Thon: Obama-rama Round Two

Official PARTICIPANT in the first ever YOUTH MEDIA BLOG-A-THON.

I must admit, after Obama lost the California primary in which I voted (despite my cynicism about whether or not my vote actually made a difference) I was very disappointed.

I stopped paying attention to the race because I figured that it didn’t matter. If my vote couldn’t help Obama then no other vote could. Little did I know that Mr. O was on a winning streak across the nation.

Luckily for me, yesterday while sitting in the waiting room at the mechanics, I was forced to watch CNN’s coverage of the Wisconsin primary. What I found out is that Hillary is a hater, and that whenever my main man Obama wins her camp makes an excuse about why he won saying that there are a lot of African-Americans or that she doesn’t do good in caucuses.

However if he won in Wisconsin, where the demographics were more favorable to Hillary, (working class, white, older, etc.) which was a good indicator for future success because this is what they were calling a ‘no-excuse primary’.

Later that night when I found out that he won. I was re-inspired. Never before have I wanted to follow more closely what’s going on in politics, nor have I ever had so much invested personally in a candidate. Now it’s down to business for Hillary because if she loses the next two upcoming primaries in Ohio and Texas, it looks like lights out for Clinton. Kick ass on Thursday Obama!

  1. I really can’t stand Hillary either…all she does is bash Obama. I don’t vote, cause like you said I have a hard time believing that my votes count if they did then Mr. Bush woudn’t be the commander at this point. Feel me. I digress though, we were talking about the present canidates and as I was saying if I did vote I wouldn’t vote for her because I really don’t what she wants to do for the world. I know Obama is all for change and making things better but Hillary…all I know is that she likes to lie and threaten to manipulate this country. Hopefully, we won’t let that happen. But Hillary is always being simple minded about how she goes about things. Like when, she accused Obama of plagerism. It was a mess. She fails to realize that bashing him is only making it worse for her and her democratic party. Mainly because the undecided would vote completely against them for the simple fact taht they can’t get along. Not saying they can’t have friendly competition but hey, it’s too much for some people. Hopefully though, she’ll be the loser and all this would be a smokey haze in Obamas’ past…oh yee for the day…LOL
