In my world, Lil Wayne is one of the 7 Wonders (along with Michael Jackson and the Internet). Although I am morally and socially opposed to most of his lyrics, there is something in his delivery and swag that makes him almost irresistible. I only allow myself to listen to him in small doses lest I get converted to the dark side, but love him or hate him, there’s something very interesting about the artist known as Lil Wayne.

When surfing through one of my favorite blog sites, I saw and ad brought to the world by hip-hop’s unofficial official condom, “Strapped”. The ad, featuring Weezy F. Baby himself, shows Wayne being arrested (by a white police officer), mug on mean, with a slew of strapped condoms…matter of fact take a look for yourself…wow. I guess in the current state of mainstream rap, promoting safe sex is just as corrupt as most of the music. Does the means support the ends? I guess now a days anything goes, just remember to go down strapped!
