Official Participant in the Youth Media Blog-a-Thon.

So I was watching an old segment from YO!TV called Straight Pistol Play and it was crazy. They were playing with guns like they were toys. I think people don’t cherish life enough these days. I mean it would drive me crazy to have someone’s death on my conscience.

I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. I don’t think that people realize how big of a problem this is. On the other hand in the video they talk about how they are only carry a gun for protection and I know it can be hard living in Hunters Point,. If you have ever been up their or seen the movie Straight Outta Hunters Point you’ll come to see that Hunters Point can be a very hard place to live depending on your life style.

I feel that these troublesome kids keep getting younger and younger. It is sad because they have nobody to really look up to because a lot of they’re elders are OGs. Something else I also noticed is that people are proud of living in a murder capital. That amazes me. Why would that ever be something to brag about? If anything, people should try to work hard to get out of the ghetto.
