I personally think Prop K should not be legal because first off the prostitution rate will go up. Secondly the rate of people with HIV/AIDS/STD’s may increase. Thirdly prostitution, to me, is not right, it’s not something most women are proud of doing!

Most women do it because it’s the most easy way to get a lot of money fast. The reason is because our government doesn’t help the people that need help, for example single moms, they need to work real hard to put food on the table for their kids, pay rent, sometimes medical insurance, car insurance (if they have a car), car monthly payments, gas, etc. Some can afford all of that because either they don’t get paid enough, or their not legal in the U.S. and because of that most women turn to prostitution to make money and be able to make ends meet!

So, If I was to vote I would keep prostitution illegal but would also like the government to step up and help these women who need it.
