Talk About Knock Offs

Walking around San Francisco everyday I see all types of bootlegged merchandise. People walk around with fake diamonds, movies, purses, jackets, shoes, etc. There is so many fake goods I think they got something fake for everything that is real.

On February 22nd there was a shipment that came on MV Ever Ultra to the port in Oakland CA. It is also knowed as the Area Port of San Francisco; it is one of the largest seaports in San Francisco. But anyway, the shipment came from China and it had counterfeit goods in it. I started wondering how many counterfeit goods come into San Francisco in daily basics.

Now I know some people are already thinking, ‘Where I can get that stuff from?’ because the fake product is a lot cheaper, and then you got the people that swear up and down that they would not wear it. But what if they did not know they were buying knockoffs. Most of the people buying the goods don’t even know they are buying counterfeited goods.

These types of products go all over the world whether it’s shipped by sea, brought on a train or a plane.

I happen to believe that many of these products are now in San Francisco. I’ve heard that China Town and the Mission are the two main places these things are sold.

I just wanted people to know that counterfeit goods are everywhere and sometimes it isn’t a bad thing. I could understand why many people are trying to get these goods out here espcallily since it’s around the holidays. Some people aren’t as fortune as others and just wish they could have are even be that other person with that bag.

Also another thing, I think a lot of the younger generations are buying a lot of these products. The only people that it’s hurting are the real companies that the fake brand is rocking.
