The Simpsons Movie: the Good, the Bad and the D'oh!

When the Simpsons came out I was so excited to see it. I thought is going to be as funny as the Southpark movie but it wasn’t. I thought its going to funnier than the series too. I don’t think it wasn’t even that funny. It was just “HAHA” funny. For me it was a waste of money because I fell asleep while watching it.

There are only 2 or 3 scenes that I laughed at but I didn’t almost die from laughing. So I was kind of disappointed, and the whole theater felt the same thing too. Because I didn’t heard anyone laughing so hard except for like one or two people. It was a disappointment. And I was waiting for a good scene then I fell asleep it was kind of boring it.

It was just a movie to me. It wasn’t as good as any other summer movie like Spider Man, or Transformers that gives you the movie “hang over” when you imitate what they did after watching the movie while walking down the street. My friends and I didn’t even talk about it at all after the movie because half of us were falling asleep or we just weren’t paying attention anymore to the movie and we are all kind of disappointed by the movie we waited so long for to come out and it wasn’t as good as we thought it was.

In my opinion the Simpsons movie was hilarious. I thought it could have had a better story but the jokes were funny. I never stopped laughing. It had me dying with laughter. There were so many jokes and things that happened, it would be hard to describe. Basically it’s about how Homer creates a disaster where the government is going to destroy Springfield and Homer has to save his hometown.

Everybody that is in the show has a part in the movie. Maggie only has one word so be on the lookout for it. It had me laughing from the beginning all the way to the credits. I loved it. I would definitely recommend this movie to kids all ages. Go see this movie if you haven’t you don’t know what you missing.
