Bigger Than Bullets

In Philadelphia, a police officer was shot as he walked into a doughnut shop where a robbery taking place. When he walked in the robber shot him right through the brain.

Getting shot in the head is different from actually doing something about it. Also, people are always quick to report something tragic when it comes to the government, but when it has to do with some youth getting killed they say they’re “investigating” but don’t do much about it. I feel like this is important because he’s a human, and nobody deserves to get shot. But bullets have no names on it, and turf wars and violence over drugs are more important than an officer getting shot. The war on the streets continues because nobody finds a solution to it. I guarantee they will find who shot the officer before any other crime is solved in Philly. The same things that happen out there happen here in areas like San Francisco and Oakland. And why was the officer on a doughnut break instead of “protecting and serving” Maybe I’m being selfish because I don’t like police because of their to history. I tried to convince myself they all aren’t the same but they are.
