A pizza hut delivery guy named Thanh Thach from Richmond was shot and killed on Monday at 9 pm while trying to deliver a pizza. He was trying to make enough money to bring his mother here from Cambodia. He had just received his citizenship in September.

His wife described it as the “happiest day of his life”.

Apparently, Thach was on the phone with the customer when the phone went dead. He got shot and killed, but neither money nor pizza was stolen.

Why would someone be so little hearted to kill a father of two working at Pizza Hut? I mean, it is bad enough he has to work at Pizza Hut and feed two mouths. He had just started working there. He hasn’t even been there six weeks. I love to order pizzas. I wouldn’t want pizza delivery guys to be scared of delivering pizzas to my place because of an incident like this. I feel bad for this guy. He is a hardworking man with a family. Why does it always have to happen to the good guys?
