YO!
YO! is a collection of short pieces by the writers at Youth Outlook!
[ filed under: entertainment ] Recently, Oprah invited the founders of Youtube on her show, to discuss the website that has changed our lives. Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim didn’t anticipate that they would sell their brainchild for an estimated $1.7 billion, to of all people, Google (another idea that rocked the internet). Youtube.com, whose slogan is “Broadcast Yourself”, allows users to upload videos of virtually anything (no nudey stuff…that’s a different site), still even will it’s mild censorship on pornographic material, Youtube allows you to say, show, describe, or depict anything else you can conceive, and have your video easily accessible to millions of people all over the world. There’s some crazy stuff on Youtube, well all know that, half of us have brainstormed on how we could get in on the action and think of something crazy that we could put on Youtube and maybe, just maybe, we could enjoy our 15 minutes of fame. I’m still working on mine, but for some, they found the magic formula for Youtube stardom. Unfortunately, there is no answer as to what exactly makes a standout Youtube video, from the laughing baby, which currently has 29, 282, 490 views and counting, to read a book, which has sparked debate on major networks BET and CNN, there are a realm of things that spark public interest. Tay Zonday, my favorite Youtuber, recently got a deal with Dr. Pepper after he gained high popularity for his video “Chocolate Rain”. After 11, 615,307 views, thousands of responses, a highlight on VH1’s show “Best Week Ever”, and even a shout out from John Mayer, Tay Zonday has now uploaded “Cherry Chocolate Rain”, sponsored by Dr. Pepper. Talk about an upgrade! E-List celebrity status never looked so rewarding. Congrats Tay, you deserve it! -Jazmyne Young comments |

I saw another version of the video:
